Pairs.

It seems like everyone has that person.

Whether it be romantic or not, it seems lately everyone has that one person you can always pair them with.  When you think of them, you think of the other person immediately.  They go together, like a set.  They make sense, they compliment each other, they look to be made for each other.

When you’re in these sets sometimes it’s hard to realize it, because everything just feels right, nothing abnormal.

Everyone has that one person they know will love them above everyone else.  That will stand by them, through anything.  That won’t get mad, or upset, or angry at them over petty things. That one person who sees you as you truly are.  That one person who values you over everyone else, and would always sacrifice their own sanity for yours.

The more I see these pairs coming together around me, the more I realize I live in a world of uneven numbers.

And I’m the odd one out.

Commitment.

Today I saw what commitment really meant.
It means going through awful, embarrassing, uncomfortable and humiliating experiences with people because you have to.
You can’t just break promises because of your pride, or you really never cared.

It’s all about actually giving a shit.
Today I found out who valued their pride over their friends today.

It opened my eyes.
